The Women With Pride program at The Pride Center celebrates Women’s History Month by offering an art show, a book club and an empowerment series as well as a regular schedule of events for LBT women.

Moving Forward: Women of the 21st Century, the third annual art show produced by local LGBT group, Closet Talk, is on display from now until March 29, 2013.  Fourteen women artists are featured in this exhibition at The Pride Center.  A gallery reception with food and drinks is scheduled for March 22 from 7 p.m. to 10 p.m.

“All artists will be in attendance to discuss their pieces,” confirmed Judissa Atkinson, co-owner of Closet Talk“We have quite an interesting mix of art, from figurative art to photography, graffiti to abstract, contemporary paintings to metal sculpture, pen and ink to oil. Many of the pieces are about women of power and progress in the U.S. and abroad.”
